HRVs or Heat Recovery Ventilators are a great way to ventilate your business. It is essentially a whole-building fan. HRVs provide fresh air in a building while exhausting an equal amount of stale air to the outside. In the winter, the system will remove heat from the outgoing air and add that heat to the incoming air. This provides stronger ventilation while not negatively impacting your building’s energy efficiency preventing moisture buildup and mold inside your business.
ERVs or Energy Recovery Ventilators are very similar to a HRV. The significant difference is that ERVs also help control the humidity level in your building. It takes the humidity out of the outgoing air and puts in into the incoming air. This is a great help especially if you work in dry, warm climates.
